In 2013, the remarkable Constant L.M. timepiece was recognised with the award of the GPHG (Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve) "Aiguille D'Or".

Patrick Pruniaux, CEO of Girard-Perregaux, says that they wanted to push the performance envelope and make an up-to-the-minute evolution of the original concept. This resulted in the creation of the Neo Constant Escapement, which Pruniaux says is superior in every way and stands testament to the dedication of the brand's talented  team, and represents a new era in watchmaking.
