When the company that Natasha Kraal was working at – as editor-in-chief for almost two decades – suddenly ceased operations at the height of the pandemic, it was a sign for her to forge a new path.

After 24 years in publishing, she was also looking for real change. In 2020 Kraal made the decision, along with Kam Su-En, to start Mynd, a modern wellness digital media that aims to empower Malaysians towards more mindful living and a positive mindset.

Kraal talks about her own healing journey and how the idea for this company came about.

Through the entire process of launching her company, she says she discovered a couple of things about herself. Kraal also shares her aspirations for her start-up and while she misses the creativity, working with a passionate team and the extraordinary travel experiences in her previous job, she has not looked back and is focused on forging ahead.
